NSS offers three medical plan options to choose from, both for individuals and families. We also offer two dental plans through a national carrier. These dental plans provides coverage for routine exams and cleanings as well as pays for a portion of other services. Our vision plan is provided through a national carrier and provides coverage for routine eye exams and pays for all or a portion of the cost of glasses or contact lenses.

We offer a 401(K) package, where every dollar our employee contributes, NSS will match 100%, up to a maximum match of 6%.

FAMILY / SICK LEAVE

NSS provides paid parental leave which can be taken by the parent and/or primary care giver to care for a new child because of childbirth or adoption. PTO benefits include all vacation, sick, and personal days, and is designed to simplify attendance tracking. Eligible full-time employees accrue PTO on a bi-weekly basis based on years of service.

LIFE / DISABILITY / AD&D INSURANCE

Basic life insurance is automatic to all eligible employees at no cost. Short-term or long-term income replacement due to being disabled and unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury is available to all eligible employees at no cost. Basic AD&D insurance is automatic to all eligible employees at no cost.

MEDICAL PLANS
NSS offers three (3) medical plan options to choose from, both for individuals and families.

TELEHEALTH
Telemedicine is an alternative way to access medical care services 24/7/365 via a phone or video consultation.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA)
Health Savings Accounts are available in conjunction with our medical plans to pay for several medical related expenses, including costs up to the deductible, coinsurance, dental, and vision claims.

FLEXIBLE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS (FSA)
Healthcare Flexible Savings Account (FSA) and Dependent Care FSA are available for healthcare and/or dependent care using tax free dollars.

DENTAL PLANS
We offer two (2) dental plans through a national carrier. Our dental plan provides coverage for routine exams and cleanings as well as pays for a portion of other services.

VISION PLAN
Our vision plan is provided through a national carrier. The plan provides coverage for routine eye exams and pays for all or a portion of the cost of glasses or contact lenses.

ACCIDENT INJURY INSURANCE
Our plan pays for treatments or injuries resulting from an accident.

HOSPITAL CARE INSURANCE
Our plan pays benefits for hospitalizations resulting from a covered injury or illness.

LIFE INSURANCE
Basic life insurance is automatic to all eligible employees at no cost.

Basic AD&D insurance is automatic to all eligible employees at no cost.

NSS observes ten (10) holidays per calendar. Employees are eligible for two (2) floating holidays.

BEREAVEMENT LEAVE
We provide bereavement leave to eligible employees for the death of family members.

CIVIC DUTIES
• Jury and Witness Duty: NSS will grant eligible employees paid time off for Jury or Witness Duty.
• Voting: NSS encourages employees to vote and complies with all state and federal election law requirements without loss of pay.

VOLUNTEER TIME OFF
Eligible employees can be paid for work performed on behalf of 501© (3) charitable organizations.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
